base 00:57 would be the a8 so this is the s8 so 00:59 this is the fast one and there's no our 01:00 s8 yet that's right and I don't know if 01:02 there will be because there never was 01:04 flora let's see if we need it I mean it 01:09 would help but this is still really fast 01:10 well let's talk about the crazy stuff 01:12 that this has specifically with the air 01:14 suspension first of all it scans the 01:16 road so if it sees any bumps coming up 01:18 ahead it can brace for them and
it'll 01:20 know what to do and based on the front 01:22 wheel it also changes the rear wheel so 01:24 you always get the softest suspension in 01:26 comfort plus mode yeah I was driving 01:27 over some train tracks and it like felt 01:29 like nothing yeah this is one of the 01:31 smoothest cars I've ever driven like 01:33 definitely comparable to a 7 Series and 01:35 an s-class like this is really good 01:37 might be near the top now and the next 01:39 thing with the air suspension is how
it 01:40 handles so I'm going to send this in 01:42 comfort Plus through cliche corner and 01:44 so what it does is it'll actually lean 01:46 into the corners if it needs to but it 01:48 tries to keep you as level as possible 01:49 and honestly driving this thing through 01:51 cliche it's just dead flat yeah it's 01:53 very comfy it feels like I've got 01:55 dynamic bolsters yeah but if what you're 01:57 saying is correct it's just the car 01:58 pushing the bo lsters against me while I 02:00 stay
straight well the bolsters being 02:02 the air suspension system not the actual 02:03 polster's yeah it's actually a wild 02:05 system I'll get that more handling stuff 02:07 later but that's just what the air 02:08 suspension and the next cool thing about 02:09 the air suspension on this is when you 02:11 get in or out it drops or raises the car 02:13 so much and especially raising it raises 02:16 the car so fast yeah so when you open 02:18 the do or you're trying to get in it 02:19 makes it so
easy to get in and it's 02:21 crazy how fast it does it I guess they 02:23 can't drop it as fast because if you put 02:24 a hand in there or something it'll like 02:26 crush it but there's also no reason to 02:27 make it go down it's fast that's what 02:29 you want up because that's when you open 02:30 the door to get out or in but like what 02:32 if you want to dump it like on air ride 02:33 yeah I mean that'd be pretty cool and 02:34 the final thing with the air suspension 02:36 that we can't
show you because if you 02:37 don't want to get crashed into it can 02:39 actually brace for a side impact by 02:41 raising one side very interesting yeah 02:43 so the car that's going to potentially 02:44 hit you hits more body than it does the 02:46 window area 02:49 so now proper sent through cliche corner 02:52 in dynamic okay this will oversteer 02:54 which is nuts 02:55 and it's all-wheel drive and it really 02:57 does n't understeer it has all-wheel 02:59 steering and honestly this feels
so much 03:02 smaller than it is this is probably 03:03 gonna be like a good bad guy car for the 03:05 next transporter oh for sure it will be 03:07 like this handle is incredibly well one 03:09 of the best outies I've actually driven 03:11 rs5 takes the cake for me like I felt to 03:14 sell fast in that I just think that 03:15 thing understood so much so the next 03:17 gimmick that I'd like to talk about is 03:1 8 the rear entertainment yeah it's 03:20 actually really good we've got a
bunch 03:22 of tablets back there okay 03:23 potentially really good so we do have 03:25 the tablets on the back and they show 03:27 the infotainment kind of and then you 03:29 can also swipe over and then it's just a 03:31 regular Android tablet and you can also 03:33 remove them and take them with you so on 03:35 those tablets you do have YouTube you've 03:37 got pretty much everything that's on an 03:38 Android tablet like games you can 03:40 download more stuff but the problem is 03:42 you
need to use Wi-Fi to see everything 03:45 yeah which this car has and apparently 03:47 it's all connected we checked everything 03:48 but we couldn't get it to work and then 03:50 it says you need to activate MMI to play 03:53 audio which we couldn't do yeah we 03:55 actually did try to do everything that 03:57 it told us to do and it still wouldn't 03:58 play the audio through the system it 04:00 played the audio through this little 04:01 dinky speaker right here good thing we 04:04 got all
these extra speakers in the sky 04:09 but there is like a headphone jack - but 04:11 there's so much going on us - who do 04:14 this for a job couldn't figure it all 04:16 out 04:16 yeah I actually had to pair it to 04:18 different Wi-Fi and then everything 04:19 started working but then it made me sign 04:20 in which I didn't want to sign in 04:22 because this isn't my car so if you own 04:24 this a lot of these issues wouldn't 04:25 actually exist once the Audi specialist 04:27 showed you
exactly how to use all this 04:29 stuff but if you log in you can't set a 04:31 pin so nobody else can use it except for 04:33 you in the back so all your private 04:34 information will be safe on those 04:35 tablets yeah so in case someone steals 04:37 your car you still have your PIN but I 04:40 still don't think it's perfect because 04:41 having your own phone is just like more 04:43 convenient no matter like who you are 04:45 sitting in the back of whatever car and 04:46 then this doesn't
even have pre-loaded 04:48 videos like we always say having the 04:50 infotainment from an Air Canada plane 04:52 would probably be the best right Honda's 04:54 kind of have that but just cater towards 04:55 kids and then like every minivan always 04:57 syncs up perfectly there's like no 04:59 risking that's not working because those 05:01 kids need thei r infotainment in the back 05:02 so would you want an iPad instead of 05:04 anything I honestly don't think we're at 05:06 the point where
anything you have back 05:07 here is better than just having your own 05:09 iPhone in your hand that is true but 05:10 then having a larger screen and it 05:12 connected to the car and being able to 05:13 see features from the car is really cool 05:15 yeah from the back you can see how fast 05:16 the drivers going you can see the health 05:18 of the oil and everything and then if we 05:19 use the center little tablet you can 05:21 control a bunch of stuff like all your 05:22 peasant blockers
you've got a bunch of 05:24 peasant blockers and I find them to be 05:26 really quiet yeah then you can also 05:28 control your massage cooled seats moving 05:30 the seats around and everything from 05:31 back there overall the backseat room is 05:33 very nice would you take the backseat of 05:35 this over the back seat of the 7 S eries 05:37 well the 7 Series had a tray table and 05:39 the thing for your legs and everything 05:41 yeah so overall I think that's a little 05:43 bit better than this
but this has more 05:45 points because you can play YouTube off 05:46 the tablet which we couldn't do on the 7 05:48 Series at the time exactly so to sum all 05:51 that up the back seats are fantastic 05:53 yeah but at this point it's not better 05:55 than just having your own iPhone with 05:56 you in whatever backseat you're sitting 05:58 in at the time from any manufacturer in 06:00 general yeah just just have your phone 06:01 on you and some headphone and we've also 06:03 got our own sunroof
at the very back and 06:05 little mirrors to check your makeup the 06:07 next cool gimmick it's not that cool but 06:09 it's kind of cool so we've got carbon 06:10 fiber everywhere but the vents hide 06:13 themselves when you start the car or 06:15 when you turn off the climate yeah it's 06:16 a nice subtle little thing that happens 06:18 I guess if you shared this car with your 06:19 wife it would be nice to put it like a 06:20 little I love you message when you 06:22 parca so when she gets in
she gets a 06:23 nice reminder yeah and then when she 06:25 drives it's not there it's buried 06:27 somewhere behind yeah it's gonna fly it 06:28 by the firewall I just rattle for the 06:30 rest of the life of the car exactly 06:32 the next thing isn't really a gimmick 06:33 but we do have massa ges here as well 06:35 yeah you can either click the button on 06:36 the bottom side of the seat or click the 06:38 seat on the bottom infotainment screen 06:40 easily and keep and radar cruise
a 06:41 gimmick I wouldn't say so but I'd say it 06:43 works very well in this car it's a very 06:45 good working lane keep assist quick 06:47 little reminder gimmick isn't a bad 06:48 thing gimmicks are good things and the 06:50 other cool thing that pops up when you 06:52 start the car the speakers yes cool 06:54 gimmick and they sound really good so we 06:56 do have the optional Bang & Olufsen 06:58 system and it is fantastic yeah but that 07:00 awesome system doesn't help when
the 07:01 sounds coming out of those little 07:02 speakers on the tablet well I'm sure 07:05 someone's figured this system out this 07:06 can't be the only way this works 07:07 I'm sure the dealer sets it up for you 07:09 maybe I don't even honestly I don't even 07:11 kno w if a dealer could do this they must 07:12 okay the last gimmick the wipers ok the 07:15 wipers are probably the coolest wipers 07:17 I've seen and I think they beat Mercedes 07:19 wipers so they're magic wipers but
the 07:21 water sprays out on whatever side it's 07:23 heading towards yeah so the upside on 07:25 the up and the down on the down it's 07:26 amazing revolutionary and the last thing 07:29 isn't an Audi gimmick it's a straight 07:31 pipe gimmick visor test thr ee two one 07:35 guess 07:36 whoa all the way good job 07:43 door handle that's a gimmick that's a 07:45 gimmick send it for me 07:52 you get moments of like pure thrust but 07:55 it's like smooth in between everything 07:57 and the 0 to
100 kilometer per hour time 07:59 is roughly in the range of the s63 and 08:01 the M 760li so it's all in the three 08:04 second the upper three-second range this 08:06 one doesn't feel as aggressively 08:07 definite dozen and fun fact this is the 08:10 same base engine that's in the 08:13 Lamborghini horas wasn't the first s8 08:15 the same engine as another Lamborghini 08:16 yes the v10 so this still has a 08:18 Lamborghini engine it's just the v8 from 08:21 the Auris now I wish it had a
VTEC 08:23 all right let me hustle this through 08:25 cliche a corner real quick and it really 08:28 pulls you around that rear steering does 08:30 a lot so before I talk about the rest of 08:32 the interior stuff like the infotainment 08:33 I want to get into the looks do you 08:35 think that this looks good only from the 08:37 rear angles I agree that's the best 08:39 angle it's not that it's a bad looking 08:41 car but it's just a little bland 08:43 the front angle it just blends
into 08:45 everything else especially in this 08:46 silvery grey color which can pop 08:48 sometimes and we also have the black 08:50 optics package which blacks a bunch of 08:52 stuff out like the grille and even the 08:53 headlights don't stand out that much and 08:55 these are the optional laser lights as 08:57 well like I'm sure they're cool and work 08:59 well but it doesn't have a cool pattern 09:00 like the a7 that we drove now I agree 09:02 and from the side there's a lot of 09:04 really
cool overlapping body lines and I 09:06 really like these wheels they're so 09:08 clean they do look good but what is the 09:10 Continental recommended tire the Conti 09:12 sport contact 5 P and what do you think 09:15 of the brakes and brake calipers on this 09:16 ok so this has the carbon ceramics which 09:19 are an option they're about $10,000 they 09:21 look really cool I really don't think 09:23 you need them yeah I guess that's kind 09:24 of like the theme of the 2020s is like 09:27 you're
gonna get carbon ceramic brakes 09:28 they're gonna be a lot to change yeah I 09:31 just just don't get them if you don't 09:33 have to and then now to the back end our 09:35 favorite part we've got r eally cool 09:36 taillights that come all the way around 09:38 when they're on but when they're off 09:40 it's not that good yeah but I believe 09:42 they are OLED taillights which is pretty 09:44 fancy yeah all that just like my LG OLED 09:47 TV that has an audio lag so I just had 09:49 to get that
out there okay 09:50 you've been ranting about that for a 09:51 while so yeah I'm desensitized to it and 09:54 there's no way to fix it and I don't 09:55 know what to do and then we have a 09:56 pretty nice looking diffuser 09:57 nothing special just really clean yeah 09:59 it works really well with the double 10:00 dual exhaust tips 10:01 yeah the exhaust tips are so good but 10:03 they're not like super big double oval 10:06 exhaust they're just smaller ones 10:07 because this is not an rs8
and since 10:09 this is a gigantic sedan we do have a 10:11 ton of trunk room back there yeah I 10:14 don't need to add that you can't 10:17 actually get the s8 in Canada as a non 10:19 extended wheelbase so this is the 10:21 extended wheelbase 10:22 yeah those rear doors are pretty huge 10:24 but what's cool about these door handles 10:26 are they're all electronically you don't 10:27 feel anything besides just like a little 10:29 click yeah there's no loud latch or 10:31 anything like that and
they're soft 10:33 clothes they are which is pretty fancy 10:34 but I mean that's if you have to have 10:36 soft so overall looks wise how would you 10:38 compare t his to the 7 Series and the S 10:41 Class there's nothing extravagant about 10:43 it so if you don't want to stand out I 10:45 would highly recommend getting this over 10:47 the s-class or the 7 Series because I 10:48 think both of those look better because 10:50 they stand out more how about the looks 10:52 of this versus 8g 90 I
think the G 90 10:54 looks better from the front but I think 10:56 this looks way better from the back I 10:58 think that G 90 looks cooler overall but 11:00 this is better every other way yeah it 11:03 really is I would like to start off the 11:05 interior section talking about all the 11:07 gloss black I mean it's an expensive car 11:09 so there's no point of complaining about 11:11 it because somebody else will clean it 11:12 for you right potentially at this price 11:14 point potentially
high there is a lot of 11:15 gloss black though like everywhere but 11:17 there's also a lot of really nice glossy 11:19 carbon fiber I love this carbon fiber so 11:21 much I love how much of it there is and 11:23 we got leather and alcantara 11:25 a really good mix of dark interior 11:27 colors this is a solid non extravagant 11:29 interior and then what color are these 11:31 seats they are a cognacs I believe I I 11:33 could see Kanye yeah yeah it looks good 11:36 it doesn't stand out too
much 11:37 it's just along with the whole muted 11:38 look of this whole vehicle and the seats 11:40 are super comfortable thoug h and we 11:41 should probably check if this passes the 11:42 cupholder test it does pass a reusable 11:45 cup of coffee just fine both of them 11:48 fantastic environment so obviously we 11:51 have two infotainment screens 11:53 yeah just like every other updated OD 11:55 and I really like the system yeah no 11:57 real issues here one thing I really like 11:59 is apple
carplay is wireless and wired 12:01 it's up to you but it has disconnected 12:04 for me a whole bunch of times wirel essly 12:05 like I'll get in the car and it doesn't 12:07 kick in for a couple minutes and Android 12:08 auto has been for 12:09 for me wired Android auto or Wireless 12:11 Android auto wired not yet yeah I still 12:13 get to charge my phone but what I really 12:15 like about apple carplay and android 12:16 auto is because there's a menu on the 12:18 left you can always click to it
with a 12:19 click of a button it makes it a lot 12:21 easier because I complained in a lot of 12:22 car s that there's too many clicks to get 12:24 to the page you want to be on that was 12:26 the first thing I programmed in here and 12:27 this does ever winding satellite radio 12:29 stations it does not have to mix I don't 12:30 think it's gonna get it which kind of 12:32 sucks but whatever and then we have our 12:34 heated and cooled seats we also have a 12:36 heated steering wheel all the
settings 12:37 are in the infotainment and then we've 12:38 also got like buttons for our sh ades and 12:40 our garage door opener down there well 12:41 it's pretty easy to use and then below 12:43 that screen we have touch buttons but 12:45 you actually have to click these ones so 12:46 we have our drive mode selector there so 12:48 we have four different drive modes auto 12:50 dynamic comfort plus and individual to 12:52 be honest compromise yeah all day I mean 12:56 this is fast but like it's
more 12:59 comfortable than it is fact exactly 13:01 that's the thing but this d oes sound 13:02 really good yeah and it changes between 13:04 the drive modes on the inside but it 13:06 also sounds really good outside but the 13:11 thing that sucks is that it's such a 13:12 quiet comfortable car that you don't 13:14 hear the outside stuff unless you're 13:15 rolling around with the windows down 13:16 yeah you really don't hear anything in 13:18 here you've probably noticed that our 13:19 audio is
extremely clean in this car 13:21 because it's so quiet and then thr ough 13:23 the infotainment we've got ambient 13:25 lighting as well yeah and the ambient 13:26 lighting is actually really nice the way 13:28 that it comes in through the interior 13:29 looks really premium the best part is 13:31 even the seatbelt receptacle lights up I 13:34 don't think I've ever seen that in any 13:35 other car is receptacle though right 13:37 word for it 13:38 nice but the sourcing has paid off and 13:41 as
all luxury cars should have this has 13:43 an amazing 36 0 camera and reverse camera 13:45 yeah I think this is the tightest one 13:47 around the perimeter of the car and then 13:49 for our gauge cluster we've got s 13:50 performance and sport so S performance 13:52 is like a tack that goes all the way 13:54 across sport is the two bubbles but 13:56 what's nice is there's a reduced mode 13:57 that'll get rid of the stuff on the side 13:59 and gray out some of the features that 14:01 you don't
really need to look at reduce 14:03 mode is pretty cool but I wish it 14:04 reduced it's slightly more kind of like 14:06 Corvette stealth mode yeah I get that 14:08 but I've never seen any car company 14:10 desaturate all the stuff at the top yeah 14:12 but then the bottom stuff is left yeah I 14:14 guess but then how about the steering 14:15 wheel steering wheel looks pretty nice 14:17 and it feels great but don't you hate 14:19 steering wheels like this I do I prefer 14:20 three spoke ones
but this one 14:22 contoured so nice that I don't mind it 14:24 no do you think howdy copied the G 90 I 14:26 don't think so 14:26 I really don't think so I'm gonna have 14:28 to look back and find out but what about 14:30 these paddles they're pretty much the 14:31 same as every other out e paddles but 14:33 the back feels kind of nice cuts through 14:34 metal yeah but I think there are some 14:36 new metal paddles coming like in the rs6 14:38 which will hopefully get to drive one
of 14:39 these days would be nice to drive that 14:40 so I guess that's pretty much everything 14:42 with the s8 let's get to the price well 14:45 it's obviously a lot of money it starts 14:47 at one hundred and fifty one thousand 14:48 six hundred dollars Canadian and this 14:50 one loaded with options is one hundred 14:52 ninety three thousand six hundred and 14:53 forty five dollars so that's kind of 14:55 right along the ballpark of like the M 14:57 760li 14:58 and the s63 sedan yeah those
start in 15:01 the 170s 15:02 okay so this kind of might be a better 15:04 deal for the features you get this is 15:06 kind of in-between the base models of 15:08 those and the upper trims of those like 15:10 they kind of split the difference 15:11 because those get an S 63 there is no m7 15:14 yet and then there is no RS 8 yeah and 15:18 there won't be an S 65 anymore and then 15:20 Genesis doesn't make fast cars yet no 15:22 they dog overall I think this is one of 15:25 my favorites I just
feel so relaxed 15:27 driving in all of these big body sedans 15:29 I love these things but as the kind of 15:31 person you are today don't you kind of 15:33 need a flashy ER luxury car like you're 15:35 talking about looking at Rolls Royces 15:37 yes this is or rollers whatever the 15:40 plural is this is the opposite of man I 15:43 know it's not for me right now but it's 15:45 for me later I feel like the person who 15:46 buys this is very confident in 15:48 themselves and they just want

bunch 03:22 of tablets back there okay 03:23 potentially really good so we do have 03:25 the tablets on the back and they show 03:27 the infotainment kind of and then you 03:29 can also swipe over and then it's just a 03:31 regular Android tablet and you can also 03:33 remove them and take them with you so on 03:35 those tablets you do have YouTube you've 03:37 got pretty much everything that's on an 03:38 Android tablet like games you can 03:40 download more stuff but the problem is 03:42 you
need to use Wi-Fi to see everything 03:45 yeah which this car has and apparently 03:47 it's all connected we checked everything 03:48 but we couldn't get it to work and then 03:50 it says you need to activate MMI to play 03:53 audio which we couldn't do yeah we 03:55 actually did try to do everything that 03:57 it told us to do and it still wouldn't 03:58 play the audio through the system it 04:00 played the audio through this little 04:01 dinky speaker right here good thing we 04:04 got all
these extra speakers in the sky 04:09 but there is like a headphone jack - but 04:11 there's so much going on us - who do 04:14 this for a job couldn't figure it all 04:16 out 04:16 yeah I actually had to pair it to 04:18 different Wi-Fi and then everything 04:19 started working but then it made me sign 04:20 in which I didn't want to sign in 04:22 because this isn't my car so if you own 04:24 this a lot of these issues wouldn't 04:25 actually exist once the Audi specialist 04:27 showed you
exactly how to use all this 04:29 stuff but if you log in you can't set a 04:31 pin so nobody else can use it except for 04:33 you in the back so all your private 04:34 information will be safe on those 04:35 tablets yeah so in case someone steals 04:37 your car you still have your PIN but I 04:40 still don't think it's perfect because 04:41 having your own phone is just like more 04:43 convenient no matter like who you are 04:45 sitting in the back of whatever car and 04:46 then this doesn't
even have pre-loaded 04:48 videos like we always say having the 04:50 infotainment from an Air Canada plane 04:52 would probably be the best right Honda's 04:54 kind of have that but just cater towards 04:55 kids and then like every minivan always 04:57 syncs up perfectly there's like no 04:59 risking that's not working because those 05:01 kids need thei r infotainment in the back 05:02 so would you want an iPad instead of 05:04 anything I honestly don't think we're at 05:06 the point where
anything you have back 05:07 here is better than just having your own 05:09 iPhone in your hand that is true but 05:10 then having a larger screen and it 05:12 connected to the car and being able to 05:13 see features from the car is really cool 05:15 yeah from the back you can see how fast 05:16 the drivers going you can see the health 05:18 of the oil and everything and then if we 05:19 use the center little tablet you can 05:21 control a bunch of stuff like all your 05:22 peasant blockers
you've got a bunch of 05:24 peasant blockers and I find them to be 05:26 really quiet yeah then you can also 05:28 control your massage cooled seats moving 05:30 the seats around and everything from 05:31 back there overall the backseat room is 05:33 very nice would you take the backseat of 05:35 this over the back seat of the 7 S eries 05:37 well the 7 Series had a tray table and 05:39 the thing for your legs and everything 05:41 yeah so overall I think that's a little 05:43 bit better than this
but this has more 05:45 points because you can play YouTube off 05:46 the tablet which we couldn't do on the 7 05:48 Series at the time exactly so to sum all 05:51 that up the back seats are fantastic 05:53 yeah but at this point it's not better 05:55 than just having your own iPhone with 05:56 you in whatever backseat you're sitting 05:58 in at the time from any manufacturer in 06:00 general yeah just just have your phone 06:01 on you and some headphone and we've also 06:03 got our own sunroof
at the very back and 06:05 little mirrors to check your makeup the 06:07 next cool gimmick it's not that cool but 06:09 it's kind of cool so we've got carbon 06:10 fiber everywhere but the vents hide 06:13 themselves when you start the car or 06:15 when you turn off the climate yeah it's 06:16 a nice subtle little thing that happens 06:18 I guess if you shared this car with your 06:19 wife it would be nice to put it like a 06:20 little I love you message when you 06:22 parca so when she gets in

cool overlapping body lines and I 09:06 really like these wheels they're so 09:08 clean they do look good but what is the 09:10 Continental recommended tire the Conti 09:12 sport contact 5 P and what do you think 09:15 of the brakes and brake calipers on this 09:16 ok so this has the carbon ceramics which 09:19 are an option they're about $10,000 they 09:21 look really cool I really don't think 09:23 you need them yeah I guess that's kind 09:24 of like the theme of the 2020s is like 09:27 you're

and since 10:09 this is a gigantic sedan we do have a 10:11 ton of trunk room back there yeah I 10:14 don't need to add that you can't 10:17 actually get the s8 in Canada as a non 10:19 extended wheelbase so this is the 10:21 extended wheelbase 10:22 yeah those rear doors are pretty huge 10:24 but what's cool about these door handles 10:26 are they're all electronically you don't 10:27 feel anything besides just like a little 10:29 click yeah there's no loud latch or 10:31 anything like that and
they're soft 10:33 clothes they are which is pretty fancy 10:34 but I mean that's if you have to have 10:36 soft so overall looks wise how would you 10:38 compare t his to the 7 Series and the S 10:41 Class there's nothing extravagant about 10:43 it so if you don't want to stand out I 10:45 would highly recommend getting this over 10:47 the s-class or the 7 Series because I 10:48 think both of those look better because 10:50 they stand out more how about the looks 10:52 of this versus 8g 90 I
think the G 90 10:54 looks better from the front but I think 10:56 this looks way better from the back I 10:58 think that G 90 looks cooler overall but 11:00 this is better every other way yeah it 11:03 really is I would like to start off the 11:05 interior section talking about all the 11:07 gloss black I mean it's an expensive car 11:09 so there's no point of complaining about 11:11 it because somebody else will clean it 11:12 for you right potentially at this price 11:14 point potentially
high there is a lot of 11:15 gloss black though like everywhere but 11:17 there's also a lot of really nice glossy 11:19 carbon fiber I love this carbon fiber so 11:21 much I love how much of it there is and 11:23 we got leather and alcantara 11:25 a really good mix of dark interior 11:27 colors this is a solid non extravagant 11:29 interior and then what color are these 11:31 seats they are a cognacs I believe I I 11:33 could see Kanye yeah yeah it looks good 11:36 it doesn't stand out too
much 11:37 it's just along with the whole muted 11:38 look of this whole vehicle and the seats 11:40 are super comfortable thoug h and we 11:41 should probably check if this passes the 11:42 cupholder test it does pass a reusable 11:45 cup of coffee just fine both of them 11:48 fantastic environment so obviously we 11:51 have two infotainment screens 11:53 yeah just like every other updated OD 11:55 and I really like the system yeah no 11:57 real issues here one thing I really like 11:59 is apple
carplay is wireless and wired 12:01 it's up to you but it has disconnected 12:04 for me a whole bunch of times wirel essly 12:05 like I'll get in the car and it doesn't 12:07 kick in for a couple minutes and Android 12:08 auto has been for 12:09 for me wired Android auto or Wireless 12:11 Android auto wired not yet yeah I still 12:13 get to charge my phone but what I really 12:15 like about apple carplay and android 12:16 auto is because there's a menu on the 12:18 left you can always click to it
with a 12:19 click of a button it makes it a lot 12:21 easier because I complained in a lot of 12:22 car s that there's too many clicks to get 12:24 to the page you want to be on that was 12:26 the first thing I programmed in here and 12:27 this does ever winding satellite radio 12:29 stations it does not have to mix I don't 12:30 think it's gonna get it which kind of 12:32 sucks but whatever and then we have our 12:34 heated and cooled seats we also have a 12:36 heated steering wheel all the
settings 12:37 are in the infotainment and then we've 12:38 also got like buttons for our sh ades and 12:40 our garage door opener down there well 12:41 it's pretty easy to use and then below 12:43 that screen we have touch buttons but 12:45 you actually have to click these ones so 12:46 we have our drive mode selector there so 12:48 we have four different drive modes auto 12:50 dynamic comfort plus and individual to 12:52 be honest compromise yeah all day I mean 12:56 this is fast but like it's
more 12:59 comfortable than it is fact exactly 13:01 that's the thing but this d oes sound 13:02 really good yeah and it changes between 13:04 the drive modes on the inside but it 13:06 also sounds really good outside but the 13:11 thing that sucks is that it's such a 13:12 quiet comfortable car that you don't 13:14 hear the outside stuff unless you're 13:15 rolling around with the windows down 13:16 yeah you really don't hear anything in 13:18 here you've probably noticed that our 13:19 audio is
extremely clean in this car 13:21 because it's so quiet and then thr ough 13:23 the infotainment we've got ambient 13:25 lighting as well yeah and the ambient 13:26 lighting is actually really nice the way 13:28 that it comes in through the interior 13:29 looks really premium the best part is 13:31 even the seatbelt receptacle lights up I 13:34 don't think I've ever seen that in any 13:35 other car is receptacle though right 13:37 word for it 13:38 nice but the sourcing has paid off and 13:41 as
all luxury cars should have this has 13:43 an amazing 36 0 camera and reverse camera 13:45 yeah I think this is the tightest one 13:47 around the perimeter of the car and then 13:49 for our gauge cluster we've got s 13:50 performance and sport so S performance 13:52 is like a tack that goes all the way 13:54 across sport is the two bubbles but 13:56 what's nice is there's a reduced mode 13:57 that'll get rid of the stuff on the side 13:59 and gray out some of the features that 14:01 you don't
really need to look at reduce 14:03 mode is pretty cool but I wish it 14:04 reduced it's slightly more kind of like 14:06 Corvette stealth mode yeah I get that 14:08 but I've never seen any car company 14:10 desaturate all the stuff at the top yeah 14:12 but then the bottom stuff is left yeah I 14:14 guess but then how about the steering 14:15 wheel steering wheel looks pretty nice 14:17 and it feels great but don't you hate 14:19 steering wheels like this I do I prefer 14:20 three spoke ones
but this one 14:22 contoured so nice that I don't mind it 14:24 no do you think howdy copied the G 90 I 14:26 don't think so 14:26 I really don't think so I'm gonna have 14:28 to look back and find out but what about 14:30 these paddles they're pretty much the 14:31 same as every other out e paddles but 14:33 the back feels kind of nice cuts through 14:34 metal yeah but I think there are some 14:36 new metal paddles coming like in the rs6 14:38 which will hopefully get to drive one

start in 15:01 the 170s 15:02 okay so this kind of might be a better 15:04 deal for the features you get this is 15:06 kind of in-between the base models of 15:08 those and the upper trims of those like 15:10 they kind of split the difference 15:11 because those get an S 63 there is no m7 15:14 yet and then there is no RS 8 yeah and 15:18 there won't be an S 65 anymore and then 15:20 Genesis doesn't make fast cars yet no 15:22 they dog overall I think this is one of 15:25 my favorites I just
