Jeep Trackhawk vs Jaguar F-Pace SVR - 1,200+ Supercharged Horsepower

00:16 i'm jake on hearing overdrive 00:19 [Music] 00:30 20:20 jeep track hawk with launch 00:33 control that's insane money Jaguar 00:45 f'hace as we are with no launch control 00:51 [Music] 00:59 and since these are high-performance 01:00 SUVs handlings a big part of them so 01:02 let's send them through cliche corner 01:03 okay so there's definitely body roll but 01:05 this is it's all-wheel drive okay yes 01:10 this is very flat and sporty all right a 01:15 little bit of understeer if

it's 01:17 definitely rear biasing you can feel it 01:19 it does oversteer a little bit oh man 01:22 this is so much fun through cliche so 01:24 we're gonna come back to cliche corner 01:25 when we switch cars to decide which one 01:27 we like more and when we do launch 01:29 controls in the other car but first 01:31 horsepower and torque the Jeep has 707 01:34 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque 01:36 from a 6.2 liter supercharged v8 and the 01:39 Jag has 550 horsepower and

502 01:42 pound-feet of torque from a 5 liter 01:44 supercharged v8 and if you like 01:46 comparisons like this subscribe and hit 01:48 the bell so you don't miss any upcoming 01:49 videos a year you know what time it is 01:51 right time to send it send it oh my god 01:56 this is so fast ok so the track Hawk is 02:00 definitely faster than the SVR however 02:02 the SVR is stupid fast 02:07 yeah the track Hawk definitely is faster 02:10 like you said but not by that much 0 2:11 considering it has

about 150 extra 02:14 horsepower and in the SVR I did use my 02:17 paddles to shift did you use them in the 02:18 track hog oh absolutely not there's no 02:21 way you can keep up with this laggy 02:22 gauge so we had this in the last track 02:24 hock we drove you can program the shift 02:26 points for the shift light but it's so 02:28 hard to get it absolutely right and we 02:30 both have the same ZF 8-speed Auto so 02:33 the transmissions are amazing in both of 02:35 these it's just the digital

gauge that 02:37 sucks in the track Hawk yeah we had no 02:39 problem with hitting those shifts in the 02:41 hell yeah and the transmissions 02:44 themselves actually shift really quickly 02:46 it's just the gauges on the track hawk 02:48 the transmissions are amazing though 02:49 okay next thing when we were ripping it 02:52 did you hear my awesome exhaust from the 02:54 SVR every time I up shifted you got the 02:56 chainsaw burn it does sound rea lly good 03:01 but the supercharger whine from

this 03:03 track Hawk coupled with that exhaust is 03:05 some of the best stuff I've ever heard 03:07 so let's cut to an exhaust clip and you 03:09 guys tell us in the comments which one 03:11 sounds better 03:12 [Music] 03:25 personally I think the exotic sound of 03:28 the svr is better but when you're 03:30 driving the track Hawk having that 03:32 supercharger controlled by your foot is 03:34 insane exhaust to exhaust I'm gonna give 03:37 it to the jag exhaust to exhaust + 03:39 supercharger

I'm giving it to the track 03:41 Hawk fully agree let's have some fun 03:45 with these transmissions keep it in Auto 03:47 let's drive nice and slowly so the 03:50 transmission things were driving 03:51 economically and then floor it I'll 03:53 leave the track Hawk in sport mode but 03:55 the transmission in Drive I'm gonna 03:56 floor it that's fast and the F base has 04:01 Drive and sport transmitter so I'm gonna 04:03 put in sport transmission and superfast 04:08 pickup so I guess that's a

tie for both 04:10 of these transmissions when shifting out 04:12 of Drive when you floor it oh yeah 04:13 totally they're both fantastic and we 04:15 did launch these in the beginning of the 04:17 video and the best part about the track 04:18 Hawk is the launch button it's a 04:20 Christmas tree and then this F pace 04:22 doesn't have a launch control mode which 04:24 makes me think it's not a full SVR you 04:27 know what I mean like they didn't take 04:29 it all the way even though it's

still 04:30 silly fast 04:31 yeah the f-type had launch control so it 04:33 sucks that they didn't give it to the 04:34 FPS also when you're in this one when 04:37 you put it into the sport modes or 04:38 anything it doesn't show a big shift 04:40 light in the middle like the f-type did 04:42 so not full SVR but still super cool but 04:45 like we said earlier the Jeep is 04:46 definitely faster it'll do 0 to 100 km/h 04:48 in 3.5 seconds which is nuts and the Jag 04:52 will do it in 4.3 seconds

which is also 04:54 pretty damn respectable yeah every time 04:56 I launch it in that track Hawk I feel 04:58 like the car takes over it doesn't even 04:59 let me take my foot off the brake pedal 05:01 it's like time to go bud look yeah yeah 05:04 you can adjust the launch control rpm 05:06 through the infotainment but no matter 05:07 where you set it it just rips your foot 05:09 off the b rake 05:10 just sends it no problem and from our 05:12 previous track Hawk video we know that 05:14 if we

set it too high the brakes can't 05:17 hold the car back so these are very high 05:19 performance very expensive SUVs so let's 05:22 start with the looks now 05:26 which color do you like more I really 05:28 like the blue on the Jag this green just 05:30 isn't green enough I really like that 05:32 green because I don't see anything like 05:34 it and I'm kind of over this jag bl ue 05:36 but it looks amazing in this blue and if 05:38 we move on to the front ends both of 05:40 these cars have a

hundred percent real 05:42 grilles yeah which is awesome and it's 05:44 kind of expected considering how much 05:45 cooling and air these things need dude 05:47 Mustang GTS have fake hood scoops 05:49 nothing is expected anymore how much 05:52 horsepower does the Mustang GT have okay 05:54 not as much but like maybe and then we 05:56 also have hood vents in both of them 05:58 which are both functional headlights 05:59 which one do you like more I think the 06:01 track Hawks look a little bit

cooler yep 06:03 but you can't really take anything away 06:04 from the Jag still and if we look under 06:06 the hood which one looks cooler 06:07 obviously the track Hawk yeah look at 06:09 that supercharger on top the jag 06:11 supercharger is a little bit too hidden 06:14 and we've got Hemi supercharged ridden 06:15 and we've got an orange block it's 06:17 everything you want and so let's move on 06:18 to the side I think I really like both 06:20 of these wheels yeah they're pretty

much 06:22 the exact same pattern except for 06:24 different colors the Jaguar does look 06:25 like it has bigger rims and the Jeep 06:27 does look like it has way fatter 06:29 sidewalls yeah we both have big brakes 06:31 and I love how the ones on the track 06:32 hawk look I like the yellow calipers 06:34 yeah I think Jeep wins with the yell ow 06:36 and the green and what is the 06:37 Continental recommended tire for both of 06:38 these the extreme contact sport which is 06:41 recommended for

the summer only and as 06:42 for body lines and side views the track 06:44 hawk does have much harder lines which 06:46 casts a really nice shadow the Jaguar is 06:49 a lot smoother but the Jaguar doesn't 06:51 have color match fenders which makes it 06:53 look kind of cheap as well yeah I'm not 06:55 sure why they did that I feel like they 06:56 should have just color match them maybe 06:58 they're waiting for a higher trim you 06:59 know what I mean then it's gonna have 07:00 launch control

and colored fenders SVR 07:03 are okay back-end 07:06 I think the Jag has a way better looking 07:07 back end especially because of the 07:09 exhaust tips 07:10 yeah the exhaust tips look really cool 07:11 it's like totally different than most 07:13 other cars yeah it's kind of wrapped 07:15 around it they are 100% rea l exhaust 07:17 tips and they look so good they're real 07:19 exhaust tips on the track hawk as well 07:22 however the track Hawk does this weird 07:23 thing where they like dented

the inside 07:25 tip and like force the dual exhaust so 07:26 that's the only thing that bothers me so 07:28 we're giving it to the Jag four exhaust 07:29 tips yeah for the exhaust tips and I 07:31 think overall rear end especially 07:32 because of that weird rear tire diffuser 07:34 thing 07:35 side yeah I 've never seen that before it 07:37 actually looks really really cool on the 07:39 Jag and then taillights 07:40 I think the Jags look just a little bit 07:42 cooler they both have little

spoilers 07:43 but the Jag has a little spoiler on the 07:46 little spoiler when they make the SVR RF 07:49 pace it's gonna have another spoiler on 07:50 top of that I just figured out what it's 07:52 gonna be it's gonna be the project 9 I'm 07:55 ok with that 07:56 so overall looks wise I think the track 07:58 Hawks more badass and I think it wins I 08:00 think so too I like a lot of book the 08:02 Jag but the Jeep is just more badass but 08:05 I guess if you're looking for like a 08:06 subtle

gyro looking car the Jag is 08:08 definitely your pick 08:09 well since jag is British your breck 08:11 sitting out of Europe so that's not 08:13 really European yo they're already gone 08:14 they left yeah well technically it's 08:16 also Indian so I don't even know what's 08:18 goi ng on anymore hey Yuri I haven't 08:20 flirted in a while 08:21 oh my god I guess I got a floor now too 08:27 man yeah that sounds good 08:29 I love hittin up shifts right at the red 08:32 line on the Jag do you like

hitting up 08:36 ships on the red line on the Jeep - I 08:38 would love to if I knew how to do it 08:40 I don't think you can I'm totally 08:42 convinced nobody can hit shifts on the 08:44 red line in that Jeep I just need to 08:46 state for the record that if you ever 08 :47 try a track Hawk and you don't smile 08:49 you're dead inside but I have noticed 08:52 that in the Jag if you floor it with 08:54 traction on especially like in winter 08:56 colder weather the traction will like 08:58 buzz

and not let you floor it you need 09:00 to have at least one traction off if you 09:02 want to rip it at all times and in the 09:04 track Hawk if you put it in track mode 09:05 it turns off traction and you could 09:07 definitely get this in sideways and you 0 9:08 can definitely slide the Jaguar a little 09:11 bit as well so let's talk about these 09:12 interiors one is obviously slightly more 09:15 premium than the other and that would 09:16 probably be the Jaguar that I'm in but 09:19 the

jeeps interior is actually really 09:20 nice we've got carbon fiber we got some 09:22 nice patterns and materials 09:23 so in this jag interior we've got black 09:25 and white and we've got quilted stuff 09:27 everywhere we've got these really cool 09:29 race seats up in the front it's overall 09:32 like super luxurious with a good amount 09:34 of sportiness in the track Hawk there's 09:36 a tunnel leather all the touch points 09:38 are really soft the seats are not as 09:40 well bolstered but

they're so 09:41 comfortable yeah I feel like the track 09:43 has a touch of American sizing built 09:45 into it if you know what I mean oh I 09:47 know what you mean and I'm definitely 09:48 more comfortable in these seats but I 09:50 feel like it's a little more open a 09:51 little more roomier in the Jag so the 09:53 Jaguar does have heated and cooled seats 09:55 how about the track hawk the track Hawk 09:57 also has heated and cooled seats and a 09:59 heated steering wheel as does the

Jag 10:01 and both sound systems are absolutely 10:03 bangin bangin not Olufsen so now to the 10:06 very important stuff apple carplay 10:08 Android auto the Jaguar and the track 10:10 hawk both have apple carplay and they 1 0:12 both have Android auto as well so we've 10:14 got a wider infotainment screen in the 10:15 Jaguar so I've got my apple carplay in 10:17 widescreen yeah and I personally like 10:19 the one in the Jeep it's just more 10:20 intuitive I think everything just works 10:22 a

little bit better and in the layout is 10:23 great yeah that's true but they both 10:25 have her whining satellite radio 10:26 stations so for me no real issues and 10:28 does one have a better reverse camera 10: 30 than the other yeah the Jeep has a 10:32 really bad lower res reverse camera but 10:35 it's very clear 10:35 what do you mean low-res and clear I 10:37 can't see anything in the jeeps backup 10:39 camera no you can see where you are it's 10:41 just not the best resolution there

are 10:43 some cameras where you can't see where 10:45 you are and it's bad resolution at least 10:48 it's not distorted I'll give you that 10:49 but the jag system is so much better 10:51 yeah it's g ot the 360 camera and the 10:53 reverse camera which we somehow figured 10:55 out to show on the screen at the same 10:57 time but the funny part is the 360 10:59 camera in the front shows part of the 11:01 blue bumper yeah what's with that I've 11:03 never seen that before 11:04 all right what

actually happened it's 11:06 somebody installed the camera in the 11:07 mirror at the wrong angle brutal that's 11:09 why the line isn't straight but on the 11:13 bright side both of these do have 11:14 automatic Parking which is very nice and 11:16 then we both have adaptive cruise and 11:17 only one of us has a real link keep 11:19 assist and it's not the Jeep because it 11:21 doesn't keep you in the center of the 11:22 lane yeah I use the lane keep in traffic 11:24 and on the highway and it

was so good 11:26 it's like one step below the Hyundai 11:28 Palace 8 and the Kia Telluride and so 11:30 let's talk about these gauges I did 11:32 mention how laggy they were i n the Jeep 11:33 earlier and yes they're still very laggy 11:35 but they're very customizable which is 11:37 really nice yeah you get a lot more 11:38 information for all your horse powers 11:40 your torques and all that kind of stuff 11:42 we're in the Jag it's pretty simple it's 11:44 nice and clear it's not laggy but

when 11:46 you're in sport mode the tach is red the 11:48 gauges are red and the red line is red 11:50 so it's hard to really see when it's 11:52 time to shift and in the track hawk 11:54 everything's just flashing at you you 11:55 kind of don't know really what's going 11:56 on it's better to just leave an auto but 11:58 the Jaguar has a head-up display which 12:01 is very nice it shows what gear you're 12:03 in and it flashes red when it's time to 12:05 shift it doesn't have like a

sequential 12:06 shift lights but if you hit it when it 12:08 turns red it's perfect every time so 12:11 would you give an overall winner to the 12:12 g auges it has to be the Jag because it 12:14 doesn't screw up your shifting yeah 12:16 you're right that's so annoying all they 12:17 need to do is up the refresh rate on the 12:19 RPM gauge and that's it not even take 12:21 the ones from the Challenger redeye that 12:23 are analog put him in there because 12:25 they're proven do that maybe they

don't 12:27 want people to drive with the paddles 12:28 but anyways let's talk paddle quality 12:30 yeah so I've got these weird little half 12:31 paddles on the track Hawk and I really 12:33 don't like them yeah they're there so 12:35 that you can use the bottom half to 12:36 change your radio controls from the 12:38 steering wheel the Jaguar however has 12:40 full-size metal paddles that have 12:42 cutouts for plus and minus that can 12:44 probably scratch your finger which is 12:46 awesome

and 12:47 all steering wheel wise I don't really 12:49 have a preference I think they're both 12:50 really nice I'm a little bit more Jaguar 12:52 I like how it's not Chrome it's just a 12:54 satin shiny metal and the most important 12:56 part of this interior the visors oh 12:59 three two one 13:01 yes ah haha full pass okay how about the 13:06 next important part of this interior if 13:08 we look at the trunks they both have a 13:10 decent amount of room for carry-ons but 13:12 let's find out

about the box test box 13:14 test one two three four seven eight nine 13:21 and ten seven eight nine ten eleven 13:2 9 twelve thirteen and fourteen get your 13:36 own box on patreon.com slash 13:38 the straight pipes and the third most 13:40 important part of the interior the cup 13:42 holder test the Jeep track Hawk barely 13:45 passes but it does pass cup holders in 13:47 the Jag will fit a small cup no problem 13:48 but the cup holder grips are super 13:51 grippy which kind of gets

annoying 13:52 sometimes and let's talk about overall 13:53 rear seat room I find that they're 13:55 pre tty good but I feel like both of them 13:57 could use a little bit more legroom 13:58 especially for your knees yeah and as a 14:00 five foot eight and a half they're fine 14:02 in both but only the track Hawk has a 14:05 entertainment system yes so I actually 14:07 have a DVD blu-ray system so I've got 14:09 these nice screens in the back which if 14:11 you have children I'm sure

you'd 14:12 appreciate and it does have RCA and HDMI 14:15 so we can play playstation or n64 14:18 theoretically we haven't actually tried 14:20 it and the last thing about the interior 14:22 before we switch drivers the Jaguar does 14:24 have interior lighting it is that kind 14:26 of blue GM that we didn't super like but 14:29 when you put it to dynamic mode a lot of 14:31 that stuff turns red when you said GM 14:33 you just meant cyan right cyan yeah yeah 14:35 from the chevy cruze video and

so now 14:37 it's time to switch drivers I'm 14:39 definitely gonna miss the sup ercharger 14:40 whine but I'm excited for that exhaust 14:42 sound 14:45 keep track hawk launch control 14:53 all right yeah this is way better no 14:57 one's controlling the Jag but send it oh 15:01 my god that upshift sound okay 15:04 definitely less violent but still super 15:06 sick this launch control on the track 15:07 Hawk is absolutely mental I couldn't 15:09 even hold my foot on the brake 15:11 yeah watching

that from the outside was 15:12 nuts this jag had a pretty good laun ch 15:14 but definitely not as crazy as that 15:16 track Hawk did you get to use the 15:17 paddles yes I did it was actually a lot 15:19 of fun I didn't go anywhere near the 15:21 Jeep paddles maybe I'll try later to see 15:23 how it bogs down but I was too scared I 15:25 think the best part of launching this 15:27 and using the paddles is that upshift 15:28 chainsaw sound in this that's why I like 15:30 the Alfa Romeo steel vo

Quadrifoglio so 15:33 much what the folio Quadrifoglio i s 15:38 there G in there oh there's a silent G I 15:40 believe so hands down Jeep wins the 15:42 launch control but we should find out 15:44 who wins the tunnel test if the 15:46 pedestrians in the tunnels lose their 15:47 hearing that's a win for us 16:03 now that I'm in the jag something that 16:05 you failed to mention all this 16:07 disgusting gloss black that's all 16:09 scratched up it's got boogers all over 16:10 it what is this

scratched up piano black 16:13 doesn't reall y bother me so I forgot to 16:14 mention it and the boogers that's coffee 16:16 that's spilled while I was ripping it 16:18 well anyways its disgusting but at least 16:21 we do have a normal shifter we're on the 16:23 way to cliche corner so let's talk about 16:24 drive modes so in the Jag I have dynamic 16:26 comfort eco and adsr adsr is kind of 16:30 just for like getting extra traction 16:31 when you need it and then the track hawk 16:33 we've got

snow tow Auto Sport and track 16 :36 and then on the right we've also got a 16:37 custom button and since you mentioned 16:39 towing that Jeep can actually tow 7,200 16:41 pounds and this jag can only tow five 16:43 thousand two hundred ninety pounds so if 16:45 you do care about that get the track 16:46 hawk aka the tow Hawk so I've been 16:48 keeping it primarily in sport in this 16:50 track hawk because I don't want to be in 16:52 track with my full traction off yeah I 16:54 totally agree

sport is definitely the 16:55 best for the street track is obviously 16:57 reserved for the track it's way too 16:59 stiff for the roads and in the Jag I've 17:00 been in dynamic the whole time 17:02 once those gauges turn rad I can't 17:04 really turn it back yeah dynamic is 17:06 where you want to be in the Jag and it's 17:07 not too stiff like the suspension is 17:09 really good on the Jag but it's also 17:11 really good on the track Hawk as long as 17:12 you leave it in support for the road

and 17:1 4 in the Jeep I've got a drive modes 17:15 button which puts me into all the 17:17 performance pages I can choose where my 17:19 car launches at where my shift lights 17:21 hit and everything like that and in the 17:22 Jag I have dynamic AI with a little race 17:24 helmet and then I can customize 17:25 everything there but I also have an 17:28 actual physical button for the exhaust 17:30 which puts it into loud mode and I love 17:32 that but it's always in loud mode when 17:33 you're in
dynamic so I haven't had to 17:35 touch that button once and the track 17:37 Hawk exhaust can't be changed it's 17:38 basically just always loud the Jeep 17:40 still has to win for all the performance 17:42 pages like having your zero to sixty 17:43 0-200 all that stuff like it's just an 17:46 unbeatable system that they have here so 17:48 let's go to the trade corner make our 17:49 final decision on which one of these 17:51 high performance 17:52 all right the downhill bump into

cliche 17:54 hit it definitely pretty stiff in 17:56 dynamic but not bad and downshift into 17:58 cliche and said oh my god this is so 18:01 flat compared to that track Hawk yeah 18:03 this is a lot more body roll you could 18:05 feel the weight on the back corner wheel 18:06 and with one traction off in the drag I 18:08 can still get the back end to slip out a 18:10 little bit yeah and this looks like it's 18:12 about to slip out in the track Hawk but 18:14 I held off a bit yeah it's

definitely 18:15 not as flat but I find the steering way 18:17 more precise yeah even though this moves 18:20 around a lot it's still very 18:21 controllable on normal streets but 18:24 seeing you behind me is pretty menacing 18:25 I'm not gonna lie yeah the Jags not 18:27 nearly as intimidating as I assumed this 18:29 would be so overall I think it's pretty 18:31 obvious that the Jag handled a little 18:33 better yeah so if you're into your 18:34 handling SUVs which I am personally

not 18:36 that much into definitely get the drag 18:38 and if you don't really care you can 18:40 pretty much muscle through anything you 18:42 need to with the power you have here so 18:44 we should probably get to the price 18:45 finally so hit me with the price I'm 18:47 gonna start off with the cheaper one 18:48 which most people will assume is the 18:49 Jeep and it is definitely the Jag it 18:51 starts at 92 thousand dollars Canadian 18:54 and it's op tioned out to one hundred and 18:56 two

thousand ninety five dollars okay 18:58 then what is the track ox it had it 19:00 starts at one hundred and thirteen 19:02 thousand seven hundred and forty five 19:04 dollars and it's sitting at one hundred 19:06 and thirty one thousand eight hundred 19:08 and forty dollars okay that's a lot for 19:11 an American SUV but this big is like way 19:14 faster and like pretty much the craziest 19:16 SUV on the road besides maybe the earth 19:19 yeah technically by horsepower it is 19:22 quicker than

the Auris so it is the 19:24 quickest SUV in the world sort of with 19:26 an asterisk which one would you take 19:28 home with you at the end of the day I 19:30 just had a bigger smile on my face in 19:32 the track Hawk so I'm going track hawk 19:34 I really enjoyed shifting gears in the 19:37 Jaguar which I couldn't really do in 19:38 this one I really liked the lane keep I 19:41 love the exhaust sound that chainsaw 19:42 sound whe n you shift at the high rpms is 19:44 so good probably not as

good as the 19:46 supercharger but overall I think I have 19:49 to go Jaguar I'm actually surprised by 19:51 your choice but I'm also kind of not 19:53 because I know how much you like the 19:54 Alfa Romeo still vo Quadrifoglio and I 19:56 feel like that's very similar to that 19:58 and I obviously know that this looks 19:59 better it's more menacing but I think I 20:02 have a taste for exotic exhaust sounds 20:04 to kin d of stay that way so to wive but 20:09 I also kind of like the more

menacing 20:10 stuff and horsepower is really where my 20:12 heart is so yeah ya know I have no doubt 20:14 in my mind that you wouldn't pick this 20:16 like this is 100% at Jacob SUV so let us 20:20 know which one of these SUVs you pick 20:22 and if you like this comparison check 20:24 out this playlist right here for some 20:25 more comparisons and here's another 20:27 playlist with a bunch of cool SUVs 20: orsepower
