then you can see those bolted on 02:13 fenders there as well 02:15 and you can see them on the back they 02:16 stick out so much and they have room for 02:18 such wide tires i love the wide look on 02:20 the challengers and the chargers yeah 02:22 the wide look is amazing and the fact 02:24 that they molded it into the front 02:25 bumper and made everything wide just 02:27 looks proper because like they saw what 02:28 the aftermarket was doing 02:2 9 and they just did it better it's like

behind the wheel 04:21 it's pretty much every single fca dodge 04:23 challenger and charger 04:24 it's exactly the same we've got a pretty 04:26 decent infection pretty good 04:27 infotainment 04:28 i really like fca's infotainment it can 04:30 be a little slow sometimes you're 04:31 loading performance pages but you have 04:33 all that stuff you've got 04:34 line lock you've g ot launch control 04:36 pretty much everything you need there 04:37 and it's got a bunch of really cool 04:39 features
for post race like race 04:40 cooldown where it'll cycle the fluid for 04:42 the supercharger and cool it down after 04:44 and then our gauges are analog on the 04:45 left analog on the right 04:47 digital in the middle it shows every 04:49 single digit through the speedo and you 04:50 can go through so many different pages 04:52 and get so many different useful opt ions 04:53 and i should mention that i actually did 04:55 check the 04:56 fuel economy on this because i took a 04:57 couple hour
road trip in it 04:59 and i had it in eco mode for everything 05:01 cruise control on and i got 11.5 liters 05:04 per 100 kilometers which is the quoted 05:05 numbers for this car 05:06 okay let me go through cliche corner and 05:08 we'll finish off the interior with you 05:13 god that's a slide this thing really 05:15 wants to get away from you and i lo ok 05:16 there's like no throttle there 05:18 and that's actually traction control on 05:20 yeah i think on a track 05:21 you can be careful

everything 07:12 about it's good and okay say you're in 07:14 auto drive mode if you try to use the 07:16 paddles it won't let you because it 07:17 knows you're an auto you actually have 07:18 to click the shifter 07:19 over to manual to do that and in both 07:20 the drive modes to get to them y ou have 07:22 to press the srt button 07:23 yeah and then you got to dig through to 07:25 the drive mode button and then you can 07:26 see which mode 07:27 does what but if you double click the 07:29 srt
button it'll go right to one of the 07:30 fast modes 07:31 and turn traction off which is kind of 07:33 sketchy i think it's really cool and i'm 07:35 going to send it into cliche corner in 07:36 track mode however 07:38 with traction in sports so that i don't 07:40 die and let's see what it does in the 07:41 proper gear oh my god 07:43 okay so it's obviously a huge sedan and 07:47 it can drift like crazy and there's a 07:49 ton of body roll and i'm 40 feet in the 07:51 air but i
love 07:52 every single bit of it okay the 07:54 predictability factor 07:55 i think the highest on this the corvette 07:58 z06 07:59 that we drove before yeah yes that was 08:01 so sketchy this is like 08:02 more horsepower more control yeah it's 08:04 heavier but like 0 8:05 still i feel way better doing everything 08:07 in this i feel like i can drift this 08:09 one-handed while drinking a monster 08:11 whereas i would totally just die in a 08:13 z06 with both hands on the wheel 08:15 power
delivery is great there's no lag 08:17 yeah i love 08:18 superchargers i love the sound and just 08:21 like every other hellcat version that 08:23 we've driven 08:23 it sounds incredible so let's take a 08:25 listen to the outside 08:30 probably one of the bes t exhausts 08:32 combined with 08:33 the best supercharger from the front 08:35 yeah that wine is just so good there's 08:37 the right amount of it whereas like the 08:39 gt500 didn't have any wine 08:41 dodge is just the best i don't know
and 08:43 we haven't talked about the transmission 08:44 yet that's because we have zero 08:46 complaints about it it's a zf eight 08:47 speed that we know and love because it's 08:49 in every fca product pretty much it's in 08:51 all the hellcats 08:52 that don't have a manual transmission 08:53 and you can't get a manual in this 08:55 if you want a manual with a hellcat you 08:57 have to get a challenger which is 08:58 totally fine 08:59 but this is perfect for a sedan yeah i 09:01 think if
you needed a car for your 09:02 family and like you managed to like 09:04 bamboozle your wife into letting you get 09:05 this it would be perfect and 09:06 you wouldn't need it in manual no 09:08 exactly like this is totally fine in 09: 09 auto you leave an auto you floor it 09:11 even from eco mode you just floor it on 09:13 the highway and it's great 09:17 but it still kind of does suck that the 09:19 paddles are half paddles on the steering 09:20 wheel with the radio buttons behind
i 09:22 love the radio buttons but like 09:23 it'd be nice to have big paddles on a 09:25 charger i totally agree so now let's get 09:27 into this interior a little bit more 09:29 the steering wheel itself is massive but 09: 31 it's good that you can vary how the 09:32 steering feels depending on which mode 09:33 you're in 09:34 and behind the steering wheel we've got 09:35 these huge couch cushion seats well i 09:37 guess in front of it 09:37 in front of the steering wheel like when 09:39 you
first get into one of these charger 09:41 hellcats you're like 09:42 what am i sitting in this isn't a sports 09:44 car and then after a few minutes you're 09:45 just like you know i'm really 09:46 comfortable an d i'm also faster than 09:48 everyone and i got the best 09:48 predictability factor 09:50 yeah and they're just genuinely super 09:51 comfortable i drove them for like two or 09:53 three hours on a road trip 09:54 totally fine and there's also plenty of 09:55 back seat room

of 11:03 horsepower and all that kind of stuff 11:04 not so much luxury but this is kind of 11:06 the same idea it'd be more 11:08 more comfortable than an e63 yeah and 11:10 this is rear-wheel drive so it's just 11:11 more fun 11:12 even though yeah drifting can't be 11:14 drifted yeah yeah 11:15 but i can still have the traction on in 11:17 this in rear wheel drive mode 11:19 exactly even though i'm using sport 11:21 traction because you can still get fully 11:22 sideways 11:24 and we haven't
turned traction all the 11:25 way all the way off no because there's 11:27 no need for it unless you're doing 11:28 burnouts but even then this thing wi ll 11:30 do 11:30 burnouts in more attraction exactly it's 11:33 like it's the perfect system 11:34 it really is okay couple things that 11:36 suck that this doesn't have well it's 11:38 got a really bad old reverse camera 11:40 and it doesn't have a video recording 11:42 device for driving like the corvette's 11:43 doing the cameras in gm does
