like that's 01:06 the only way we'll be able to do it with 01:07 a little more songs maybe even turn your 01:09 notifications on as well so we've driven 01:11 a 650 we've driven a 570 a 720 and a GT 01:15 where does this fall in line ok so this 01:18 is part of the sport series which is 01:20 actually kind of part of the entry level 01:21 series but this is the rowdiest one this 01:23 is the track version of the 570s which 01:26 this is based on and that's why it's got 01:27 that 570 front end
and back end but 01:29 since this is the LT it's the long tail 01:32 version so it does look slightly 01:33 different yes the long tail is 01:35 MacLaren's track versions basically so 01:37 it's a little bit longer took a couple 01:39 centimeters longer than the 570s and we 01:41 all know that my favourite dream car 01:43 that I can't get is the speed town yes 01:45 which has tail in it any-any McCleary 01:47 with the word tail in it I'm in love 01:49 so since 01:50 this is a track version of
the 570s it's 01:52 got a bunch of crazy track stuff like 01:54 the front track width is wider 01:56 this thing's lower it's got totally 01:58 different suspension and it's got a lot 01:59 of parts 1 2 7 20s it's got lighter 02:01 brakes it's basically just a rocketship 02:04 built for the track which is actually 02:06 still street-legal and it is a little 02:08 bit longer - yes it is 02:09 so let's send it into cliche corner with 02:11 the traction on I shoul d state it ok it 02:14 understeers
weight more than I thought 02:16 but that's because the traction lights 02:18 flashing at me and I am not turning this 02:20 off because I don't own this car and I'm 02:21 not gonna put into a ditch yeah it'd be 02:23 a lot more fun the testings fully out on 02:25 a track hopefully one day 02:27 yeah but Shadow 2 McLaren Toronto for 02:29 hooking us up with this one and giving 02:30 us so many more clearance to review okay 02:32 yeah we're yelling a lot it's really 02:33 loud in here let's try
okay okay but 02:36 back to actual handling so yelling yeah 02:38 but back to actual handling it handles 02:41 incredibly well it's just the understeer 02:42 thing because the traction so if I were 02:44 to turn it off which if I was on a 02:46 racetrack I would love to do I think it 02:48 wouldn't understand but it's doing the 02:50 whole safety thing we're trying not to 02:51 direct me into the ditch because this 02:52 would oversteer for sure yeah MacLaren's 02:54 love to oversteer it's so
controllable 02:56 and the thing that you get with 02:58 MacLaren's all of them is I think the 03:00 best steering because it just it feels 03:02 so hydraulic it feels so natural yeah 03:04 it's very predictable like very high on 03:07 the predictability scale yes the 03:08 predictability and confidence factor of 03:10 driving these types of cars yeah for 03:12 rear-wheel drive especially and even 03:13 though this does have stiffer suspension 03:15 when I'm in track mode and I'm
sending 03:17 it through cliche corner it's totally 03:19 fine like McLaren also gets really good 03:21 damping and suspension even though this 03:23 isn't hydraulic it still handles 03:25 incredibly well it's dead flat I love 03:27 how MacLaren's handle and even as a 03:30 daily driver like this still isn't 317 03:33 is more bad no not even close like put 03:36 this into normal and it's incredible 03:37 with thi s track and it's still way 03:39 better than the 370z Nismo for 03:41 suspension is
if they see 03:42 maybe not as look we'll talk about that 03:44 later yeah they are Senna seats I said 03:46 later okay sorry I just want to tell the 03:48 people why we're sitting in paper-thin 03:49 seats so now let's talk about this 03:51 horsepower torque downshift downshift 03:53 downshift sin 03:58 okay lots of turbo lag just like every 04:01 other McLaren and then you're just gone 04:03 which m akes it so fun up and like 04:08 driving fast you're always going to be 04:10 in the right gear
you're not gonna have 04:11 that you're Lola no it's just like 04:12 starting from like two 3,000 like watch 04:14 this I'm at 3,000 right now floor it and 04:17 now we're gone 04:20 okay okay you know what people who think 04:23 Tesla's and electric cars are the 04:25 fastest need to get behind the wheel of 04:26 one of these it's a slingshot yeah 04:34 and let's talk about this amazing 0 4:35 7-speed dual-clutch transmission it 04:37 shifts so quickly just watch and listen 04:39 and now
downshift so fast and are the 04:44 shifts that hard because of the mode 04:45 we're in yes 04:46 okay so sport mode uses f1 derived 04:49 ignition cut to actually speed up the 04:51 shift and make these loud pops in 04:53 between gears so you really feel the 04:54 shifts in sport mode like watch like you 04:57 feel the whole car yeah now if I'm 04:59 gonna go to the track mode this uses 05:00 inertia push watch this seamless and 05:05 even faster which would you make sense 05:07 cuz like the
sport mode is like having 05:09 fun on the streets looking cool but then 05:11 when track you don't want anything like 05:12 anything to shake around while you're 05:14 shifting you want to be a super solid 05:15 exactly and then we also have normal 05:17 which I have done yeah it's really good 05:19 for just driving normally especially 05:21 when like cops are driv ing behind you 05:23 and looking at you because this is kind 05:24 of a cute car yes it is and we'll get 05:26 into the Supercross
checklist later but 05:27 it's pretty much just yeah and since 05:30 we're talking about drive modes we also 05:32 have handling drive modes just like we 05:34 do in every other McLaren so we have 05:35 normal sport and track and in all of 05:37 them are so good and none of them work 05:39 until you push the active button and 05:41 whichever one you have in a higher mode 05:42 that's what the gauge is default to yes 05:45 we do have that track inspired gauge 05:46 where you have your shift

different 06:33 reasons number one it sounds incredible 06:35 it's right behind our heads 06:36 number two is literally the closest 06:38 thing I've ever experienced if I look in 06:40 my rearview mirror when I'm flooring it 06:41 I have the heat haze that blurs 06:43 everything in the middle I feel like I'm 06:45 gonn a get lighter and even when you see 06:46 someone getting out of it you just see 06:48 they keep blowing behind them all the 06:50 time it's so badass 06:52 it really is and then
the final thing 06:53 that's cool about it which we can't 06:55 experience during the day is it will 06:57 shoot flames at night as you rev it like 06:59 how crazy is that how is that even legal 07:02 I don't know but I don't care so there's 07:04 obviously a lot more to talk about with 07:05 the exterior a nd the interior and even 07:08 some more performance but let's get you 07:09 behind the driver seat behind the 07:11 driver's seat in the driver to save room 07:13 behind the back man what are

that is a fail a total 09:05 fail how about the visor test oh it's 09:07 fine great do one total fail which is a 09:10 supercar pass and finally does it get a 09:12 lot of attention yeah so lighter 09:15 attention especially in this chill color 09: 17 yeah which is crazy because you wouldn't 09:19 expect it in this color but this car 09:20 looks so wild that it gets so much 09:21 attention so super car ABS wonderful 09:24 said the supercar I love it okay but 09:27 talking about the attention in
the looks 09:28 a gt3 is kind of confident 09:31 for this right gt3rs yeah a blacked-out 09:33 gt3rs would go so much more under the 09:35 radar than this oh yeah this looks like 09:36 a spaceship a gt2 RS in black goes under 09:39 the radar compared to this even in black 09:41 yes do the doors go up yeah yeah they go 09:45 up hell yeah they do 09:46 haha by the way Lamborghini make all 09:48 your doors go up yes all of them Huracan 09:51 horas everything changed the rules 09:53 everything
up 09:54 it doesn't need a v12 anymore so I guess 09:56 we could probably get into the looks a 09:57 little bit I would love to it's pretty 09:59 much exactly a 570 yes it is except with 10:01 a bunch of carbon added to it e verywhere 10:03 so at the front we got like a nice cool 10:05 lift kit along everything at the bottom 10:06 but besides that the same we've got the 10:08 older style of McLaren headlights that I 10:10 love and moving around to the side we 10:12 have a bunch of crazy
Aero 10:13 in the front wheel wells to cool down 10:15 the brakes just enough and we got those 10:17 vents on the fenders as well yet to get 10:19 rid of negative pressure just like the 10:20 gt3 RS and the gt2 R S M how about the 10:23 wheels you'll love them I do really like 10:25 these wheels they are forged they're 10:26 super lightweight I love light coloured 10:28 wheels on pretty much anything and then 10:30 we have carbon ceramic brakes and a 10:31 really cool orange mclaren
brake 10:33 calipers 10:34 yeah they look really nice you don't 10:35 need Brembos on here and then i 10:36 absolutely 100% love all the gaps and 10:39 everything in the door panel I think 10:41 that' s the coolest thing ever 10:42 yeah and it's all carbon fibre you can 10:44 look through everything and the 600 LT 10:45 has even wider carbon-fiber side scoops 10:48 than the 570s and then moving on to the 10:50 back obviously the best part is the top 10:52 exhaust yeah I love that that's
the 10:55 craziest thing ever it actually saves a 10:56 lot of weight not only does it look cool 10:58 and then we've got carbon fiber up there 11:00 you can kind of peek through some hole s 11:01 and see some engine stuff but that's all 11:02 sealed up and this one is not a spider 11:04 so that's pretty cool and the Kupe has 11:06 been discontinued for 2020 hence why 11:08 we're driving a 2019 yeah I was at a 11:10 bachelor party last year when they 11:11 offered it so uh yeah we're supposed
to 11:13 drive this last year no regrets 11:14 I went jetski and then if you look near 11:17 the back wheels you'll see there's like 11:19 a giant gap right through there if th at 11:21 looks so wild and then the wildest part 11:24 of the whole back end I think besides 11:25 the flamethrower top exhaust is that 11:27 diffuser if the fusers absolutely 11:29 massive and it's all carbon fiber and 11:31 then we've got little cameras in there 11:32 too we've got cameras at the front 11:34 because we
can record our laps and stuff 11:36 like with this camera right here yeah 11:38 this is a full o track car it's not 11:40 tracking spinal track inspired 11:42 and t he 600 LT has so many crazy options 11:44 that you can add Claire in Toronto 11:46 actually has one with some of the 11:47 craziest paint that I've ever seen and 11:49 they also have a roof scoop yeah a 11:52 friggin roof scoop like a rally car I 11:54 don't know if I'd option that I think I 11:56 would I like I like the sleekness
so 11:58 overall looks wise 10 out of 10 11 out 12:02 of 10 this is like the 570s just turned 12:04 up a notch I like this a lot more than I 12:06 like the 7th 20s and a lot more than I 12:09 like the McLaren GT I think this might 12:11 be my favorite book you know more than a 12:13 720 because you love the 720 I love 12:15 everything about the 720 how it drives 12:16 how fast it is but I think I like how 12:18 this one looks more but the 765 LT is 12:22 out now and I may have to change my
mind 12:24 once I drive that speed tail bro that's 12:26 the best-looking one it does look not 12:27 that I'll ever get to drive home howeve r 12:29 and before I get into the interior I 12:31 want to do some rips and automatics so 12:33 let's go to auto mode and right now we 12:34 are in normal ready ready 12:40 kind of kind of slow to get into a flow 12:43 let's try it in sport 12:47 how'd it flow as well and let's try 12:49 track 12:54 a lot faster the automatic transmission 12:57 is really
good once you get going 12:59 but like that initial flooring it you're 13:01 probably gonna lose the someone who's 13:02 ready y es you're at the mercy of the 13:04 turbo boost and there is a lot of lag in 13:05 the clearance so now moving on to the 13:07 interior we've got like that dark grey 13:09 Alcantara we've got cool orange 13:11 Alcantara and then we've got these crazy 13:13 Santa seats yeah so everything in here 13:15 is crazy lightweight the default seats 13:17 for this are actually
from the p1 these 13:19 are the optional Sena seats and they're 13:21 crazy like they look crazy and they feel 13:24 pretty crazy getting in and out but once 13:26 you're sitting in them it's so 13:27 comfortable 13:28 yeah but having anything in your pocket 13:29 is a total nightmare at least for me but 13:31 is it worth it for how cool they look 13:32 and the fact that you can tell people 13:34 you have Santa seats a hundred percent 13:35 like I don't mind the struggle to get in 13:37 and out
like it does suck but I'm young 13:39 I might as well do while I still can and 13:41 it's all manual adj ustment that's like 13:43 the coolest part but it is a real 13:44 struggle to get in not as much for me 13:46 you're bigger than me though yeah but 13:48 these like super crazy side bolsters 13:49 like this is more difficult than a gt3 13:51 RS to get in it yeah that's half the fun 13:52 of it though but then the cushioning is 13:54 like super firm which is fine and then 13:56 we've got like a
hole between the bottom 13:58 padding where you can like lose 13:59 absolutely everything so you need to be 14:01 really careful yeah and then we also 14:02 have netting on the side so you can 14:04 store some extra stuff in the door 14:05 panels just don't forget about it when 14:07 you have your doors up no well that's 14:08 why the netting is there well just in 14:09 case there's still gas that's all that's 14:11 in there solid and like we mentioned 14:13 earlier we've got the same old
gauges 14:14 that change with every mode on the left 14:16 we've got that like a ncient menu that 14:18 you can control here you can make the 14:19 nose loop system go up and down but it's 14:21 like very difficult to use it's a lot 14:23 more difficult than they figured out in 14:25 the 720 s just like the infotainment in 14:27 the 720 s because this is still the old 14:29 one yeah so you got Sirius satellite 14:30 radio by like that's pretty much hidden 14:33 yeah my menu in SETI this it's
really 14:35 hard you just don't use it use it for 14:36 the race ca r yeah and the best part 14:38 about McLaren infotainment is that in 14:39 the climate control the guys wearing a 14:41 race bucket and when you put in Reverse 14:42 you do have your reverse camera show up 14:43 in your gauge cluster which is kind of 14:44 hard you have to like look where at your 14:45 steering wheel to see that's definitely 14:47 a supercar thing though and there also 14:48 shows up like a reverse radar thing
in 14:50 the infotainment it looks like something 14:51 I'm trying to shoot down the Death Star 14:53 with yeah it looks like those old-school 14:54 video games 14:55 something one thing I kind of don't like 14:56 about the interior this this mirror 14:58 shakes a lot yes it does like I mean my 15:00 Prowler mirror shakes like a raptor 15:02 weird shapes lawd like i don't think 15:03 this should be shaking as much as it 15:04 does yeah but racecar things yeah I 15:06 guess
race-inspired 15:08 though they have like bi g arrays big 15:09 race mirrors yeah and lucky for us the 15:11 air conditioning works perfect in this 15:13 one yeah it's not coughing on us is 15:14 great yeah hundred percent good it's by 15:17 default when you spec one of these out 15:18 there is no a/c and there is no 15:20 infotainment you can add them back for 15:22 $0 and I'm very thankful that they 15:24 headed it back yeah please please add 15:26 that stuff back yes now what do
you 15:28 think of MacLaren's wi th no sunroof or 15:30 no spider roof like it's not bad but 15:33 it's not bad but the spider is just so 15:35 much better and you can still get this 15:36 in a spider and then you get all that 15:38 crazy sound from the outside but then 15:39 you lose a lot of the way reduction 15:40 because of the spider niz yeah you might 15:42 lose a lot but then you gain a lot of 15:43 sound and fly and the fact that you put 15:46 that window down and stuff and get
even 15:48 more soun d and still have the roof 15:49 behind I feel like I have to go spider 15:51 yeah same here and surprisingly enough 15:53 the view from here is like actually 15:55 pretty good like the visibility is 15:56 fantastic yeah with McLaren's you get 15:58 that amazing disability and that driving 16:00 position which is so good and to finish 16:02 an awful little cliche corner cent 16:04 please send it as hard as you can Yuri 16:08 oh it totally kills everything reaction 16:11 on ah
it's kin d of like what the AMG GT 16:14 are did I like ah you really gotta have 16:18 the traction off for a full send one day 16:20 on a track day yes alright so that's 16:22 pretty much everything with the 600 LT 16:23 let's get to the price it's a lot of 16:25 money three hundred and twenty one 16:26 thousand dollars Canadian worth it worth 16:29 it totally worth it so this competes 16:33 with like the gt3 RS and like the 16:35 Huracan evil or Huracan purple Montagne 16:37 to be honest I keep
thinking back to 16:38 which car I would want the most I think 16:40 if I wanted to be like subtle and like 16:42 do my thing and nobody noticed me I 16:44 would go Porsche for sure if I wanted to 16:47 have like the full supercar experience 16:48 I'd have to go this because the doors go 16:50 up exactly but like the Lamborghinis 16:53 sounds I think better I think it sounds 16:56 way better I don't think this sounds 16:57 particularly good it's just 17:01 but I really love the sound
of 17:02 MacLaren's maybe even more than the 17:04 Lamborghinis even though they kind of 17:06 sound better this is just like more raw 17:08 and like f1 yeah it kind of is but f1 17:11 currently doesn't sound very good so 17:12 yeah so then when you take this over 17:14 that orange 720s we review man I really 17:19 really like this and the 720s was a 17:21 spider dude that's the hardest decision 17:23 ever ever I would go this because it's 17:25 got the front end I like it's got tail 17:27 in

brake 10:33 calipers 10:34 yeah they look really nice you don't 10:35 need Brembos on here and then i 10:36 absolutely 100% love all the gaps and 10:39 everything in the door panel I think 10:41 that' s the coolest thing ever 10:42 yeah and it's all carbon fibre you can 10:44 look through everything and the 600 LT 10:45 has even wider carbon-fiber side scoops 10:48 than the 570s and then moving on to the 10:50 back obviously the best part is the top 10:52 exhaust yeah I love that that's

from the p1 these 13:19 are the optional Sena seats and they're 13:21 crazy like they look crazy and they feel 13:24 pretty crazy getting in and out but once 13:26 you're sitting in them it's so 13:27 comfortable 13:28 yeah but having anything in your pocket 13:29 is a total nightmare at least for me but 13:31 is it worth it for how cool they look 13:32 and the fact that you can tell people 13:34 you have Santa seats a hundred percent 13:35 like I don't mind the struggle to get in 13:37 and out
like it does suck but I'm young 13:39 I might as well do while I still can and 13:41 it's all manual adj ustment that's like 13:43 the coolest part but it is a real 13:44 struggle to get in not as much for me 13:46 you're bigger than me though yeah but 13:48 these like super crazy side bolsters 13:49 like this is more difficult than a gt3 13:51 RS to get in it yeah that's half the fun 13:52 of it though but then the cushioning is 13:54 like super firm which is fine and then 13:56 we've got like a
hole between the bottom 13:58 padding where you can like lose 13:59 absolutely everything so you need to be 14:01 really careful yeah and then we also 14:02 have netting on the side so you can 14:04 store some extra stuff in the door 14:05 panels just don't forget about it when 14:07 you have your doors up no well that's 14:08 why the netting is there well just in 14:09 case there's still gas that's all that's 14:11 in there solid and like we mentioned 14:13 earlier we've got the same old
gauges 14:14 that change with every mode on the left 14:16 we've got that like a ncient menu that 14:18 you can control here you can make the 14:19 nose loop system go up and down but it's 14:21 like very difficult to use it's a lot 14:23 more difficult than they figured out in 14:25 the 720 s just like the infotainment in 14:27 the 720 s because this is still the old 14:29 one yeah so you got Sirius satellite 14:30 radio by like that's pretty much hidden 14:33 yeah my menu in SETI this it's
really 14:35 hard you just don't use it use it for 14:36 the race ca r yeah and the best part 14:38 about McLaren infotainment is that in 14:39 the climate control the guys wearing a 14:41 race bucket and when you put in Reverse 14:42 you do have your reverse camera show up 14:43 in your gauge cluster which is kind of 14:44 hard you have to like look where at your 14:45 steering wheel to see that's definitely 14:47 a supercar thing though and there also 14:48 shows up like a reverse radar thing
